Retro Glam Florida

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Great supplement in February’s Conde Nast Traveler…called Retro Glam Florida.  From Amelia Island and St. Augustine to Palm Beach, The Everglades and Gasparlla Island, CNT covers restaurants, activities, where to stay and things to see.  It is a terrific write-up of Florida’s diverse places.  Check it ou!

Love Entrepreneurs

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

We love entrepreneurs…they are wired a certain way and have big ideas with lots of heart and soul.  The team is really excited to be working with three new clients, all encompassing very different perspectives but really motivated and smart entrepreneurs.  We are not tipping our hand as to who these three clients are yet so you will have to stay tuned, but we can say that their worlds surround fitness, beauty and social marketing/advertising.  Curious yet?  ;)

Celebrity Homes for Rent

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Obviously, this global depression has effected every single person we can think of and then most businesses as well.  We are mesmerized by the rich and famous to see how they personally handle a strained economy.  Travel + Leisure’s online article Celebrity Homes for Rent interested us for a number of reasons.  We love to see how and where these folks holiday plus like to day dream…yes a guilty pleasure.  Everybody’s trying to make some cash even in a time when it is not “cool” or stylish to spend big.  These celebrity retreats are BIG spends.  Not our next vacation spot, but sure would love to help promote these locals…

Happy Monday…day dreaming.

Something to try out…FunnelScope

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

We just learned about a new way to check out “Travel Research Socialized & Travel Search Engine.”  FunnelScope takes everything a step further so that you can customize the feedback gained socially about locations (like feedback on Trip Advisor) and then organize it based on preference so all the research is done for you.  Check it out when you get a chance…

Thought this was pretty cool!

America’s Tweethearts

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Thought the article in February issue of Vanity Fair was interesting… “America’s Tweethearts.”  The spread analyzes the pros, cons and value (or not) of those who are gaining twilebritism, known as twitter celebritism based on the number of followers one has on Twitter. (The shot below is VF’s profiled tweethearts.)

Travel & Leisure 30 Romantic Dream Trips

Monday, January 18th, 2010

We are loving the feature in February’s Travel + Leisure magazine highlighting 30 Romantic Dream Trips!  With everything form barefoot luxury and ski-in, ski-out to artist’s retreat and perfume mixing experiences, the editorial staff at T+L did an awesome job finding truly special jaunts for price points at all levels…it’s a great magazine read.  We recommend grabbing a copy to plan your next escape.

Happy Monday!

Truly Delicious…Terrace at The Ellis Hotel

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

We had the pleasure of dining at Terrace on Peachtree at The Ellis Hotel last night and for breakfast this morning…it was truly delicious!  The new Executive Chef, Thomas McKeown, is outstanding chef and has a terrific accent as he was born and raised in Ireland.  Continuing to choose local and sustainable ingredients, Terrace, presents a seasonal menu embracing the heirloom recipes. (The team is really looking forward to all of the opportunities with Chef Thomas and Terrace.)

Enjoy!
